Odonata (Dragonfly and Damselfly) Survey Blitz

A Community Science Project

Hunt dragons with Steep Rock Association (SRA) this summer and contribute to excitingly new wildlife research. Your help is needed during this second of three summer blitzes to inventory all dragonfly and damselfly species inhabiting SRA’s nature preserves. We'll start by providing a brief overview on Odonata ecology, training on capture technique, and review of data collection before breaking into groups and searching for odonates. Forecasted inclement weather will advance the survey to Saturday, July 16.
